Sunday Meetings

tiny bible

The church meets every Sunday at 10:30am. It helps to arrive 10-15 minutes early to get a parking spot and a seat in time for the service to start. For more information about our Sunday morning meeting click here.

Zoom Access
For those that are housebound or live further afield and would like to join our meeting, we also stream the service via Zoom. We encourage you to join the meeting 5-10 minutes early. There is opportunity both before the meeting starts and again at the end, to connect with others on Zoom. Once the meeting begins, all Zoom participants will be muted. You will be able to hear the meeting, following the singing with words on your screen. After the preaching has finished, some choose to remain on Zoom to chat.

Planning your Visit

A Warm Hello

The following information is specifically for you if you are planning a visit, so that you know, beforehand, what to expect on a Sunday morning.

Where and When

We meet at 14 Devonshire Road (details here) for our Sunday Meeting starting at 10:30am. For your first visit, we recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early to ensure you get a parking space and find somewhere to sit before the meeting begins. When you arrive, you should be greeted at the front door by someone on our Welcome Team.

We serve tea, coffee and biscuits after the meeting; some folk bring their lunch and stay around for a while. It is a great way to meet people, or simply take time to find your bearings. All refreshments are free.

Accessibility:  If you have any questions about accessibility, please contact us on this number prior to your visit on 0151 727 4353.

Our Meeting

The meeting begins at 10:30am with a warm welcome from one of our team members. We don't have a fixed format, but there will be a time of open worship which will include some songs that will be shown on the screens.
People may pray out loud or read a short passage from the bible. Sometimes people share things that they believe God is saying to the whole church family. This might seem strange the first time you hear it but it’s all part of our connecting with God. We then share news and notices, usually about what’s going on in the life of the church. One of our leaders will then give a sermon that is bible based and that we can apply to our everyday life. We may then finish with a final word of prayer. Sometimes there is an opportunity to receive prayer at the end of the service.
